Continuum Dance Theater, founded in 2011, is an all female contemporary dance company skilled at turning alternative venues into intimate performance happenings. Led by Artistic Director, Sarah Parker, CDT conveys their artistic views on subjects of social and personal examination, new perspectives of the artist in this contemporary generation and stereotypes of the female character.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
(Complete press kit and tech rider available upon request, all programs adaptable to alternative spaces)
30' wide x 25' deep
Sprung floor with marley
Standard lighting with ability to hang additional string fixtures
Sound system with CD or mp3 player capabilities
Ideal for proscenium, boutique settings, black box, and performance in the round
EDUCATION | OUTREACH

• Pre & Post Show Discussions
• Education & Outreach

• Choreographic Residencies
Community Outreach: Continuum Dance Theater has given back to local communities through multiple organizations. Past work includes; The Mattress Factory, Children’s Museum, Cohn’s & Colitis Foundations, American Heart Association, Western Pennsylvania School for Blind Children, and The Great Urban Race.
Education: Specialized outreach components can be catered to presenters needs.
Master classes are offered by Artistic Director, and CDT company members. Additionally, Sarah Parker has founded, a year round Pre Professional Enrichment Program, as well as EVOLVE the Intensive; a yearly summer intensive designed to develop dancers physically and artistically through work with guest teachers, diverse techniques, and choreography experience.
